Sign-up with the form below or email us at info@gotopo.org. To borrow a tool you must live in the Port Orchard area and be willing to share a tool.
What is a shareable tool? A shareable tool is of significant value that you might otherwise need to rent.
What happens after you sign-up? We will create an inventory of all your shareable tools and send you a letter via USPS with your password to enter the tool sharing site. Once you log-in to the site, you will be able to see all of your own tools, plus all of the other tools in the community, including their approximate location — the nearest post office, we won’t share your address. To borrow a tool, simply click on the tool, fill out the form, and we will connect you with the tool owner.
What happens if someone destroys or doesn’t return my tool? That would be so inconsiderate and shame on that person. If someone is untrustworthy, let us know and we can kick them out of our community. Please be kind to each other.
